We have gotten inquiries on where to purchase the magazines. We are currently in the process of negotiating with YESAsia and other online retailers to provide even more options for Blackjacks.

We are barely into 2013 and 2NE1 is already making history. First, we learned of the ‘2NE1 Forest‘ project‘s success and now 2NE1 has become the very first idol group to have all its members simultaneously on the covers of different magazines.
Earlier today, we learned that 2NE1 would each be cover girls in fashion magazines this month. According to a YG Entertainment representative, ”This project was made possible because even as a group, each member has her own style/charisma and is loved.”
We did a bit of research and found that our girls were not randomly chosen for these magazines, each member perfectly fits the magazine they will be featured in.
CL’S SHOOT WITH BAZAAR SHOWS FIERCER MAKEUP THAN HER USUAL STYLE AND HER OWN UNIQUE FASHION.
Harper’s Bazaar is an American women’s fashion magazine. It considers itself to be the style resource for “women who are the first to buy the best, from casual to couture.” Aimed at members of the upper-middle and upper classes, Bazaar assembles photographers, artists, designers and writers to deliver a “sophisticated” perspective into the world of fashion, beauty and popular culture on a monthly basis.
Harper’s Bazaar is definitely for the true fashion enthusiast. Collections from all the fashion capitals are featured – New York , Milan and Paris giving its readers a broad eye view of upcoming collections from around the globe. Issues routinely include color themes and sizable accessory sections. Harper’s Bazaar works hard to set itself apart from the rest of the fashion magazines. Bucking the trend to delve into the territory of other popular women’s magazines, Harper’s only features articles that are fashion related.
With that in mind, it should come as no shock then for CL to be featured as the magazine’s cover girl. If music is her first love fashion and being fashion forward is definitely her second. Our Chaerin seems to live and breath fashion, so it is a perfect fit for her to be in the fashion magazine that is itself ALL ABOUT FASHION.
MINZY, WHO TURNED 20 THIS YEAR, SHOWS HER FEMININE AND MATURE SIDE IN “MARIE CLAIRE.”
Marie Claire is a monthly women’s magazine first published in France, but also distributed in other countries with editions specific to them and in their languages. Marie Claire targets a new generation of women, the ‘New Type A’, whose lifestyles, careers, attitudes and priorities have evolved with the world around them. As well as being affluent, driven, ambitious, confident and successful, the ‘New Type A’ woman is also compassionate, fashion-loving, funny and sexy; looking good is crucial to her.
Marie Claire is a fun, flirty magazine full of great ideas. Marie Claire advises on tips and tricks for more casual fashion looks. Most of the clothing featured is really affordable. As the ultimate glossy brand, Marie Claire caters to the many areas of an urban woman’s life.
Given the myriad of hobbies and activities that Minzy has shown interest in, it is a no-brainer that Marie Claire would pick her for their cover. Minzy has a youthful vibrancy as well as more serious side. She is ALWAYS filled with curiosity. Her well-known thirst for knowledge is a natural fit for the fashion magazine that goes above and beyond just giving women pretty clothes and strives to be a a great lifestyle magazine.
PARK BOM HAS A SPRING BEAUTY CONCEPT THAT MATCHES HER NAME.
Allure is a women’s beauty magazine, published monthly by Condé Nast in New York City. It was founded in 1991 by editor in chief Linda Wells, who has been at the helm of the magazine ever since. Allure focuses on beauty, fashion, and women’s health. Allure was the first women’s magazine to write about the health risks associated with silicone breast implants, and has reported on other controversial health issues.
A signature of the magazine is its annual Best of Beauty awards—accolades given in the October issue to beauty products deemed the best by magazine staff. From day one we have know that our Lady Spring is all about her beauty regimes. Of course, she would be the cover girl for Allure, they are practically the Holy Grail of emerging beauty products and tips. Not only that the magazine is known for it’s easy-going glamour, without being to teeny-bopper. Considering howalluring she looks in the teased photos we think Allure hit it right on the dot choosing Bom.
Elle Magazine is a worldwide lifestyle magazine of French origin that focuses on fashion, beauty, health, and entertainment. Elle is also the world’s largest fashion magazine. The title, in French, means “she“.
Like Vogue, Elle Magazine features high fashion, but the main focus is on designer lines more accessible and affordable than some of the more expensive lines like Prada, or Chanel. Elle Magazine features comprehensive and large fashion spreads as well as expansive sections on accessories and beauty are a mainstay in.
However, Elle Magazine has worked hard to expand its audience. Working aggressively worked to broaden their readership by including articles normally found in popular women’s magazines such as Cosmopolitan and Glamour. Elle, while staying true to its fashion magazine roots is seeking to redefine the genre by becoming a fashion magazine that also features serious women’s issues.
Elle is a great hybrid fashion magazine, just as Dara is a great chameleon. Dara can be super charismatic and high fashion, but also shines in casual atmospheres. When Dara started her entertainment career in Korea she had to re-brand herself as more of an edgy woman to become cohesive with her 2NE1 teammates. In the same way, for Elle to continue to compete in the ultra-competitive fashion magazine world, they have had to step out of their comfort zone and branch in to new territory.
They excitement was so great once the pictures were revealed, that our girls made it straight to the front page of Naver.

[STYLE FILE] Spotted Dara in Acne jacket while choosing new hairstyle
Last week, Dara tweeted a series of really hilarious potential hairstyles for 2NE1‘s upcoming comeback. Thanks to the keen eyes of the fashionistas at Coordi Nuna, we can report that Dara was wearing ACNE’s Rita shearling biker jacket in mint green that retails for $1,080USD at Net-A-Porter (SOLD OUT!).
ACNE was founded in Stockholm in 1996 with the ambition to create and develop a lifestyle brand through the production of desirable products as well as helping others build their brands.
This particular jacket is a statement winter piece Acne revamped its cult ‘Rita’ jacket for the new season. Finished with silver zips and a luxuriously soft cream interior the lamb leather jacket features long sleeves, with frontal zipped pockets and a central slanted zip fastening to the front. The piece is finished with a cream lamb shearling lining and oversized collar.

Decked in coveted fashion brands’ hottest collection, 2NE1’s Bom, Dara and Minzy shined even brighter at the VIP premiere of ‘The Berlin File’ last January 23, 2013.
2NE1 sans CL sported most Balmain’s Olivier Rousteing’s brilliant, hand-crafted collections. Not to be out done, other 2NE1 beloved brands like Balenciaga, Azzedine Alaia, Chrome Hearts, Christian Louboutin, etc were also present.
